N4 Educare: National Certificate

This is the start of your road to a career where you can help children be the best little human beings they can be. The N4 Educare Certificate is the first course in our Educare Programme. It is one of three courses that when combined with 18 months of practical experience will give you a fully accredited National Diploma. Learn about subjects such as Educare Didactics (the skill of teaching) and Child Health (taking care of children when they are sick).

Examinations:

There are three open book assignments that can be completed at home, as well as a final exam set by the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).

There are two exam opportunities.
May/June and October/November

August – October/November exam

NOTE:  The DHET exam is an external exam and external fees are not included in your course fees. This means that you will have to pay an additional exam fee to write this exam.
